Texture Shell

Otherwise known as, "The Adventures of Little Big-Head"

I am really fond of this one, though a high boat neck isn't exactly the most flattering thing in the world for a busty girl like me. I like the sweet little details, though - particularly the way the cables continue into the hem and cross at the turning row. It works both ways - under a jacket at the office, or on its own after hours, accessorized only with skin.

Pattern: My own (pattern available someday)

Yowza! I've been lurking for the past few weeks, but when I saw this I just had to de-lurk and say that it stunning! You truly do amazing work!

Wow! That is one lovely shell. And you're right, I particularly like how the cables work into the hem.

I am kinda busty too, (I always wonder what busty girls do for low-back underthings??) but I love how it shows off how toned your back is! Plus, boat necks are so pretty.

SO NICE.

It's beautiful!!!

Beautiful! You've got such an amazing eye!

Absolutely stunning! It's very flattering on you, and I can't wait to see the pattern.

It's gorgeous! The low-v in the back is very sexy as well (another reason why this wouldn't work for busty gals.. how would we hold up our girlies?)

Lovely! I just adore those cables! I also saw pictures of it over on Saun Shine. :) So sad I missed MDSW, being a Baltimore girl & all . . .

Wow! It's really stunning! I really can't wait for a pattern for this one!

Beautiful and lovely! I really like the back. Great job!

It looks lovely! That cable detail is neat. :)

That is one fantastic top. Please publish the pattern! Very sexy!

eunny!

It's really spectacular. Very flattering I think! I love the back.

this is VERY VERY VERY NICE......perfect for a night out or a fancy event. :)

Lovely!

Wow. That's just beautiful!

very lovely indeed! Id be scared of wearing it, but I would be tempted to knit it for the cabling detail alone

Oh, it's LOVELY. Being a busty gal myself, I am not sure if I could pull it off, but you look stunning in it. Your knitting is an inspiration, and always makes me crave needles and yarn in my hands here at work. Oh, and it was awesome seeing your name in the current IK issue!

Wow, what a sexy and great fitting top! I love the boatneck! The hem is gorgeous! You amaze me!

Very elegant and beautiful!

Wow - that is GORGEOUS! You done good!

Ooh la la! very noich!

lovely! it looks great on you...a tres sexy knitted top - betcha this would be a shoo-in for the "sexy knitters club." i, for one, will be awaiting the official release of the pattern :)

I love how it turned out. I'm rather busty too so I agree on the boatneck. A rather subtle drapey neck would be fantastic too.

Oh my. That turned out just lovely. Soooooooo, how long exactly before the pattern is available???? ;->

Two thumbs up! Do the boatneck and the tight armscyes prevent the shoulder "sleeves" (not really sleeves or straps, but you know what I mean) from falling down?

love it! the details are what makes this one sing. i'm a big fan of wearable knits and this one -- as you said -- does double duty in the office or out on the town.

it's wonderful.

Stunning! You are a talented designer.

Gorgeous! I absolutely love the back! You look beautiful in it!

Wow! Beautiful!

That is one lovely top. Can't wait for the pattern - free or for sale, I must have it!

This is very pretty! You'll have enough of your own patterns to publish a book soon at this rate!

it's really incredible, it's so beautifull

oh it looks beautiful! i love the back! is it high enough that you can still wear a bra?

ps - i'm the one that emailed you yesterday! thanks for the response!

That's a beautiful knit! You clearly have a gift for design and detail. I'm eager for the pattern to come out!

Wow! Stunning!

Gorgeous. I really love the style and details. It's such a great piece and it looks wonderful on you.

Wow, another lovely creation, simply yet elegant.

Beautiful sweater, Eunny!!!

Oh my, I love it! Hope you won't wait to long to put up the pattern! I would love to knit it, though I might the back a bit more similar to the front. I don't have much to go on the front so boat necks are super for me!

By the way, I recently finished a Deep V Argyle vest and posted a picture on my blog (both of the vest bloking -a few days back- and of me wearing the vest). I'm in love with your patterns! Keep writing them please, I'm among the first ones to buy them!

Love!

Very flattering, well done!

Love that gorgeous dip down the back.

Fabulous job! You do such lovely work and design so well.

you look absolutely amazing!! gorgeous summer top. i want one!!

It is fabulous! Can't wait for this pattern. I'm a busty gal, too, and I was wondering what you did about the "support."

simply stunning. i love how you dropped the back, it's just gorgeous.

Oh it's beautiful! What an amazing picture. Great job!

dang, girl! you could really do some damage in an outfit like that! *note to self*

I know you don't need my comment but I just have to say WOW - you did it again. Beautiful sweater - it's just perfect on you. And love your new banner. :)

That's, that's....

What's the word I'm looking for?

That's PHENOMENAL!

Once again, I can't wait to buy the pattern. It's beautiful on you.

I love it!! Amazing.

That looks absolutely wonderful! Congratulations!

WOW, it really turned out beautifully. I really do hope you decied to offer the pattern.

Amazing! and it looks great on you also

It is absolutely gorgeous! The stitch pattern is fabulous!

Great job -- it looks fabulous!

Gorgeous!! And it looks fabulous on you!!!

it's sassy yet classy. such great work.

Been anticipating this knit and was it worth the wait! Absolutely gorgeous work and the back is so sexy!!!

Love it!

Stunning! I love the braided cable so much.

Please oh please do this as a pattern! I have the perfect yarn for it and haaaave to make it.

HAAAAVE to.

I've never seen anything like that before, i love the details, especially that miter and the cables. It's such a beautiful design.

Eunny, that is fabulous! To think that you designed all that and then KNIT it is simply amazing!

How much time a day do you spending knitting? That seemed to go pretty fast.

Well done Eunny! Actually the boat neck suits you quite well, and that back is so elegant. The whole outfit is tasteful.

Beautiful, as always!!

Looks great!

Okay, when did you whip that one out? It is amazing! Looks terrific on you.

Super cute! I'd make that if/when a pattern appears. So chic!

Looks great, Eunny. It was fun to see this come together! :)

What a gorgeous top. I love it. It is hard trying to knit things to fit in with your bust size. I too am on the larger size, but at least you have a good figure to go with it. I have the spare tyre look, so I just look dumpy. Cannot wait to see a pattern for it when it becomes available. How clever you are.

Oh Eunny, it's lovely! :-)

That's HOT! You look absolutely great!
My dad would probably get a heart attack if I wear something like that ;p

Stunning! You look so fantastic and the design is awesome! Very beautiful pattern.

I'm also really curious how it works with a bra, being quite busty myself and could not even imagine going without (damn that gravity!).

Oooops! Sorry about triple posting, I don't know why that happened!

Beautiful! I love the back, very sexy.

Sorry to quote Paris Hilton but "That's hot!"

Beautiful! I can't wait to buy the pattern! It looks fun to knit, and even more fun to wear.

Lovely! I'm officially in line to by that pattern!

I saw a pic of your shell being modeled at MDSW over on Saun's blog. It's amazing and you are a phenomenal knitter/designer. (and fast too)

That is a great top and don't worry I don't think that anyone is going to look at that on you and say that it is unflattering.

It's a lovely top... but what are you wearing for a bra. Enquiring minds want to find something like it. :)

this is really fabulous. you were right--incindiary. i'm a big fan of this site. you do amazing work. keep it up!

Eunny, Your talent is genius in category. That top is awesome. Your technical skills are exemplary. I can't wait to see what you design next!

Wow. That is the first knit item I have ever seen that is both classy and sexy. You did a great job with it. That's the kind of "leave something to the imagination" top that would drive any man crazy.

You rawk! Love it! :D

I think it's stunning. The details are so charming and the back is just fantastic. I don't think it's unflattering at all, rather that it fits well and is striking.
How many adjectives can I say that mean "fabulous!"?

I think the boatneck looks fine on a 'busty' girl like you. My question is this? What kind of a bra do you wear with it? Being busty myself, anything cut down the back makes the bra issue a real conundrum. And the world is not ready for me without a bra. BTDT and caused a man to walk into a pole in a bank parking lot circa 1982.

Thank you thank you thank you Miss Eunny for having some style! I am constantly amazed at the number of women who have these marvelous gifts and can make AnYThInG! yet go around looking like a dumpy mop woman. Could be the midwest, but knitters, you must step up to the plate and embrace and accent your own beauty. Low self esteem is VERY unappealing as a personality trait. This girl is on the right track. And bless her soul for it. Youth is definitely not wasted on her.

The sweater is gorgeous. I love the boatneck on you, and this is coming from a busty girl myself! I think that boatnecks are flattering to bustier figures because it draws the eye up to the shoulders and gives a "lift" overall. Beautiful job! Can't wait for the pattern!

You do beautiful work :o)

Incendiary, indeed! I love it, and I think the boatneck looks great. You can count on me buying this pattern when it is available. :)

Another fabulous project. I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I enjoy your blog. It's really top notch. You do amazing work and are a great teacher. I love all your tutorials and explanations. Thanks for enriching this knitters life!

OOooooh, nice, really nice knitting! My favorite part? How the back curves and hugs the backbones - pretty nifty knitting there. And the patterning is wonderful. (ps - I take hand-me-downs in this case...:))

Beautiful...simply beautiful!!

It was great seeing you & getting to talk to you at Clydes (even over the loud misic)

That is absolutely stunning. I too have been lurking to see what it would look like. Breath taking I tell ya! That deep plunge in the back is so sexy yet sophisticated.

Shima

Wow! Gorgeous - and I think the boat neckline totally works. Beautiful job, as usual.

Wow!! You look beautiful in that!!! Wow!! That's the only thing that I can type!! Wow!!

So elegant. Amazing as always Eunny !

Gorgeous!! But what the heck do you wear under it??

Wow - stunning, and elegant!

gorgeous!

please keep us posted on the pattern availability!

Wow, I can't believe how awful you look in that. Really unflattering. Basically, you look short, fat and stumpy.
